Failure Rate data of the ISL75052SEHVFE type LDO

Hi,

We need the Failure Rate data of the ISL75052SEHVFE type LDO with the calculation method, temperature, environment information. Is it possible to get this information?

I tried to use your "submit a ticket" application but it seems like it wasn't delivered.

Thanks and Best regards,

  • Hello - I see you are a registered user in our online technical support system but the only ticket we ever received from you was back in 2005. Are you logged into our website and going to this link to submit your tickets?  https://en-support.renesas.com

To answer your question about failure rate.

ISL75052SEHVFE is fabricated using our P6 technology.  The data for this technology is available on-line at: https://www.renesas.com/support/quality-reliability/reliability-report-search

Enter your part number in the “Reliability Report Search” field.  Use the resulting web form to select a date range and usage conditions (including a confidence level) for the failure rate calculations. It is best to choose the date range of "***. Five Years" to get a larger sample size.

Renesas publishes failure rate information by process technology.  I’ve attached a summary report for your use.

    Notes:

    1. We provide only MTTF and FIT values. MTBF is not applicable to most microcircuits; because once they have failed you cannot repair them.
    2. We publish reliability data by process technology, not by individual part types. Data published by part typically has insufficient quantities to determine accurate failure rates.
    3. We do not provide reliability reports based on customer specific applications.

    I hope that this helps.

  • Hello,

Thank you so much for your reply and Reliability Data.

I'm logging into your website and going to the relevant link to submit my tickets and then I fill in the requested information and submit it, but there is no action afterwards and also, when I click on the MY TICKETS button, nothing appears. That's why I tried to get information in this way.

The given FIT values are for the "Ground Benign" environment, right?

Can you provide information about UCL? We know it as "Upper Confidence Level", but how, and on what basis should we make a choice?

    Thanks and Best regards,

  • I am checking on why you can't submit a ticket through our support system with our web team, and I am checking with quality about your questions on FIT and UCL.

  • To answer your questions about FIT and UCL.

The given FIT values are for the "Ground Benign" environment, right? Yes, as the P6 technology is also used for non-space products

Can you provide information about UCL? We know it as "Upper Confidence Level", but how, and on what basis should we make a choice? As noted by reliability. The 60% confidence limits chosen is determined by JEDEC spec (see photo below)

Concerning your problem with submitting a ticket. We suggest trying another browser or checking with your IT department to see if they are blocking access. Other comments:

Please sign in with My Renesas account and click "Submit a Ticket" which appears at the top right of the screen.

If you cannot browse the Webform, please delete the browser cache or access using another browser.

If you still cannot submit a ticket you will need to work with Avnet, our only authorized supplier for our rad hard products. We cannot provide detailed support on our rad hard (space) parts on this public forum.
