DA7219 no sound on linux

Hi all,

I am encountering several issues with the integration of the DA7219 on our platform. I have successfully configured the codec's I2C interface for proper read and write operations. Additionally, I managed to get the I2S interface working from the CPU, but I am still unable to produce any sound from the codec.

I have modified the sof_da7219_max98373 driver to align with our hardware configuration and a kernel version 6.6.56.

For our platform, I am using the codec in slave mode for the PLL and the following clock settings:

  • MCLK: 24 MHz
  • BCLK: 2.4 MHz
  • FSYNC: 48 kHz

Despite tracing all functions, I have not been able to properly configure the PLL or the codec registers. To address this, I attempted a fixed configuration, but I still couldn’t get any sound output from the codec.

Could you provide support with configuration tweaks or share any advice?

Best regards,
Romain
