I seen in my binary directory several binaries, from gp3.exe to gp6.exe. What is the different between them and does gp6.exe supersedes all the rest?
Hi,
I will check with concern team and come back to you
Thanks

These gp3…gp6 are GreenPAK generations. Gp3 family is the oldest GPAK family, and Gp6 are latest. Each GPAK has different resources that customer can particular need, so gp.6 family is not supersedes all other GPAK family.
I see. Thanks.
Do you have a comparison table or documentation that will help me to chose which one to use? Is it determined by the device I am using, e.g.SLG46826G?
What is wrong with the comparison table that the Go Configure Hub shows you when starting a new design? Or the product selection table on the Greenpak website?
I meant comparison between gp3/4/5/6 and not between devices. In other words, how should I use which version of gp to use?
Well you shouldn't. Just select the right device from the GPLauncher and it will automatically execute the right GP version. Which EXE is used for which device doesn't matter for us users of the software.
Does it mean that there is one 'correct' gp version for each device model?
Yes.
