SLG46108 programming

Hello all,
I am completely new to GreenPAK and want to include a SLG46108V with AN-CM-318 on a custom PCB.

How do I program the chip?
Do I need to buy the SLG4DVKADV or are there cheaper options (like using a generic USB to serial adapter or some Arduino sketch)?

Are there other options to get pre programmed chips? According to the FAQ the minimum order quantity is 3000 but my requirements are ~10 pcs.

Best,

gilex

  • Allright. I'm always really scared I break the mini-USB connector, which looks really fragile, but I'm using mine trouble-free for about two years now. I do agree that the SLG4DVKLITE looks like a better deal, so you may want to go for that., and I will likely get one myself at some point What I do like about the SLG4DVKDIP though is that you can easily create a connector for it in your project, and then plug it in to do real-time development.
