Hello,I have a question regarding the Y-ASI4U-V5-DB_V1_1 and/or ASI4U-V5This device is advertised as being back compatible with ASI-3.The starter kit comes with a Qt program, (ASI4U-V5 Dataflash Generator 2.0) - which can generate the configuration binary file which can be flashed to the ASI4U-V5 (using E2Lite) - to configure the ASI4U to behave as an ASI-5 Slave, for example. However, this utility unfortunately does not appear to support the generation of ASI-3 slave config binary generation. So, I downloaded and looked into the datasheet for the ASI4U (R19DS0107ED0102) to see if I could find a description of the Flash binary so could potentially hand-code a config binary which could be flashed and configure the ASI4U as an ASI-3 Slave - but did not find that information. How can I configure the ASI4U to behave as an ASI-3 slave node?
Ok, I've contacted Renesas ASI4U-V5 expert, he confirmed that the ASI4U-V5 is ONLY for ASi-5.When the marketing material says "ASI4U-V5 is fully backwards compatible to ASi-3", that means that ASi-3 and ASi-5 can cohabit the same wire, not that ASI4U-V5 can act as an ASi3 Slave or Master...
So, for ASi-3 - the references are ASI4U (not ASI4U-V5), or SAP5.
