Is there a newer alternative to CDP68HC68S1

Hi,

I am looking at reman work on some old controllers and need to replace the CDP68HC68S1 IC. However it has long been obsolete.

I am wondering if there is a newer alternative, even if the package is different that I might get to repair these units.
