Reset register values of Serial NOR flash AT25XE161D to default

Question

Hi, 
 I've been developing a product using the serial NOR flash AT25XE161D. During initial stages of development I might have accidentally written garbage values to the status registers. How can I revert it in the most efficient manner. Is there any specific command to do the same (like the JEDEC Hardware Reset) or should I just write the default values by referring the documentation?

 You should perform the Standard JEDEC Hardware Reset as described in the AT25XE161D Datasheet , on section 4.12 Standard JEDEC Hardware Reset, on page: 35 After this operation succeed, you should write the default/preferred values on the Status Registers by referring on section 5.
