HN58V256AT12E

Dear Expert,

I am using the part "HN58V256AT12E" as a replacement for the ATMEL part - AT28HC256-12TU. I know that it's an obsolete part but I found a huge quantity at ROCHESTER distributor.

After reviewing the datasheets for this component and comparing it to the ATMEL component, I came to the conclusion that it is a compatible component with the same programming process, but unfortunately I am unable to program it. Is there a special programming process for this component that is not the same as the ATMEL component?

By the way, I was able to program a single address using a manual programming process.

    This specific part number does not belong in our portfolio.
    If you search online you will see that this specific part number belongs to another company.
    I am afraid we cannot support you further because we can only provide support on Renesas Electronics devices.
