Dear Supporters
Q: When using whitebox, how can I enable CR52 and CA55 to use the network interface at the same time(in "A")?
note:It is also acceptable for TSN0 to be used only by CR52. Of course, TSN0 can be used by CA55 and CR52 at the same time, which is better.
The environment is two R81779F4 development boardsA: CR52 uses TSN0B:A55 uses TSN1A and B are connected by a network cable
A: The CR52 firmware has network (not uboot), and the A55 uses Linux based on whitbox. There are three types:a. Default; b: DomD removes tsn0 in device tree; c. DomD removes rswitch driverB: Default whitebox environment
In three cases a, b, and c, A can operate without entering the Linux network. For example (Figure A')But when A enters linux, the network will be disconnected (Figure B')

Hi,
In Whitebox SDK, we are able to use TSN0 and TSN1 in the same time (see Chapter 11. How to use Ethernet on Cortex-R52 in R-Car S4 Whitebox SDK Application Note)
- TSN0 is used by Linux on CA55
- TSN1 is used by Trampoline on CR52
Does it satisfy your use case?
Thank you. We will upgrade our whitebox version here and conduct the experiment again.
