Hi,
I would like to include an image to a message in a thread, but I always get an error.
I tried JPG, PNG and PDF file but never worked.
Someone could tell me the correct procedure?
Thanks
the e2studio forum wasn't configured properly : I've enabled attachments - can you try again ? Thanks John
Hi There, thanks. Right now the easiest way is to drag and drop. I'll speak with the platform manager about the insert file as I see you cannot 'browse' your files and add something.
drag and drop works on pictures , but not pdf. We're on it. Thanks John
Hello @JE_REN,
I checked that on "general forum" I can see the "drag&drop" option to insert images, but on "e2studio-forum" (this thread
debugging 2 MCU on the same PC with e2studio - e2studio - Forum - e2studio IDE - Renesas Community)
I cannot drag&drop.
Maybe I don't have the rights to attach image to that forum..
Hi There, no reason why it should not work for that forum either (I can upload).. I checked your settings and nothing wrong with your account. What error do you get ? our platform expert comes online later today so I can highligh the issue . Apologies for the incovenience.
John
Hello @JE_REN
See the wo different screenshots for "general forum" and "e2studio forum". One has the "drag&drop" the other one no.
thanks.. I'll get the team to check it out. BR john
brain melt on my side : can you check
brain melt on my side : can you check that if you 'insert image / video /file' you can see the upload grey text ? its a button and will open up your file explorer. Please do try that (should work for pdf or any). It will work in this general forum. If you can also check the e2 studio forum and let me know.
<the UI is not very obvious...>
Hello JE_REN
I usually can see the "upload" grey text but after uploading the image and click on "reply" it gives me error.
By the way, now I don't see the "upload" button if I try to reply to my thread. see screenshot
The problem seems related only to "e2studio forum", because I can upload to "rx mcu" sub-group forum
Thanks! Now it works
