Hi All
I am using a custom board with the device on the board R7FS7G27G2A01CBD and I want to use the custom phy DP83848I (TI manufacturer) with this board
1. Is there a possibility in the renesas synergy configurator to generate phy drivers and use it with this board , If it is there can you please provide the necessary documentation/Resource to do that
2. If the option of generating drivers using renesas synergy is not there can you please help me how to integrate the phy drivers with the original framework of netx , Can you please provide the necessary resource/documentation for the same
Awaiting for your reply
Thanks and Regards
Incredible
Hi, incredible.Apologies for the delayed response. The sf_el_nx NetX Port driver only supports the Micrel Ethernet PHY chip with RMMI interface mounted on Renesas kits. To use a different PHY chip or MMI interface, you will need to define your own Ethernet PHY chip driver or use a PHY chip with MII interface. Please consider trying the workaround mentioned under section 8.15 sf_el_nx of the SSP Release Note: https://www.renesas.com/us/en/document/rln/ssp-250-release-note?r=1506381Regards,Jayesh If this response, or one provided by another user, answers your question, please verify the answer.
