Device Type: CK-Rx65N.
I've successfully built the Azure RTOS Project in e2 studio following the Azure RTOS tutorial videos. However, I am unable to debug and encountered an error, as shown in the attached image. Your support in resolving this issue is greatly appreciated.
Best Regards,
Chandra Mohan
Which on-chip debugger (E1/E2/E20/E2-Lite/J-Link) is being used, and what does the debug configuration in e2studio look like? This would appear to be a configuration error at first glance.
It would be helpful if details about the hardware debug interface (JTAG or FINE) was shared, and if the hardware conforms to the recommended debug circuits from section 2.4. in the document, E1/E20/E2 Emulator, E2 Emulator Lite Additional Document for User's Manual (Notes on Connection of RX Devices)
Thank you for your reply. I've set E2-Lite(Rx) in the debug configuration, as shown in the attached image.
I don't see an image in your reply.
Since you are using the E2-Lite, I might recommend that you try to connect with a debug-only session using CS+, as I find this easier for first time setup, and testing of the hardware and debugger connection.

Also you could try connecting with RFP in serial programming mode as an additional test of the hardware.

I'll test your suggestions. I've reattached the image for your reference.Thank you,
Not sure about this error in Flash Programmer, Please suggest.

Did you install the USB driver for the E2-Lite hardware?
I've installed E2 Studio and Flash Programmer following the instructions in the manual for my device, the CK-Rx65N. I don't have an E2 emulator hardware, and I believe that the Rx65N device has a built-in on-chip emulator. However, I've noticed that there is no tool available in the RFP Select Tool dialog tab.
I'm uncertain whether the USB driver for the E2 emulator is installed on my Windows 64-bit system. Although there are drivers listed in Device Manager under USB controllers, I haven't found any labeled as E2 Lite
Not sure what you mean by, "I believe that the Rx65N device has a built-in on-chip emulator". There could be a Renesas board that includes the so-called "on-board" E2-Lite.
If the E2 is not showing up in your device manager that is a problem. You should download and manually install the driver:
The driver installations were successful, but I am unable to locate them in the Device Manager. As you said, this may be the problem. How can I check if the drivers specific to Renesas MCU tools are installed properly?
Please review the Device Manager image attached. Thank you.
I have noticed that the drivers were installed in the Settings -> Apps window. Could you please take a look at the attached image for reference.
