Hi, can you please suggest which renesas MCU has 4 to 5 I2C channels? Thanks!
Hi Jonie, RA MCU device have up to 3 I2C channels. Please see the product selector for RA MCU :

The RA devices support I2C protocol with 2 different peripherals: IIC and SCI
(apart from RA0 which has IICA and SAU)
SCI offers fewer features and capabilities than IIC, for example it does not support slave operation. Also the FSP supports these peripherals in a different way.
It is more accurate to say that an RA device has up to 3 IIC channels, but I2C can also be supported by the SCI channels.
There are RL78 options that have up to 4-ch of I2C, G14 and G23 both have 2xIICA plus 2x "simplified" I2C via the SAU peripheral.
Something like RX72M also supports lots (013) of "simplified" I2C via the SCI along with 3x full RIIC peripherals.
