Hi,
For my current project I'm using E1 emulator for programming. Whenever I'll give power supply from CS+ ide I can able to debug the software. Once if I supply voltage from external, Some time, I can able to debug and other times it's showing the above error. Please help to find the current path to debug software using external supply.

Are you using a Renesas board or custom board ?
Can you share your debug configurations ?
Also try to erase the chip with Renesas Flash Programmer.
We are using a custom board.
The chip erase is performed using the Renesas Flash Programmer.
We are facing an issue while debugging with CS+. Please find attached the image for programming connector details.
Please check the recommended connections of your interface on section 2.4:
