Failure Registers

Question

Hi, 
 I am using the RH850 (R7F701690) ***-pin controller. Could you please help me identify the specific registers in the datasheet that are used to check failure conditions related to CAN, CLOCK, RAM, and the Watchdog?

Typically a failure triggers an exception, in which case you would need to check registers associated with the specific exception type. 
 I supposed if the exceptions were not enabled you could poll the specific flag registers associated with the exceptions, but that would be a painful way to do it. 
 If you don't already have the Safety Application Note (SAN), you should submit a support ticket and follow the process of obtaining this very handy document. This app-note includes many specifics about what you are asking about.
