Motor control program problem

Question

Hello everyone, In this program, there is a variable called g_ f4_voltage_drop_k . https://www.renesas.com/us/en/document/scd/vector-control-three-phase-induction-motor-used-driving-pump-rx66t-implementation-rev110-sample-code 
 The description is "Voltage drop correction gain", but I don't quite understand what it means and how to set its value. I would like to ask everyone's opinion. Best Regard eva

Hi Eva, Thank you for reaching out to the Renesas Engineering Community. Due to the motor's inductive nature, the voltage drop correction gain compensates for the voltage level at the motor terminals, which should be maintained . You can set this parameter on the Renesas Motor Workbench (RMW) and select the corresponding RMW variable on Table 4.1 of this Application note ( R01AN4674EJ0110 ) Hope this helps! Hello Eva, Based on my understanding, the voltage drop gain is used to adjust the voltage command value for V, U, and W based on the detected voltage drops ( g_f4_voltage_drop ) and deviations on the phase currents ( g_f4_iu_ad, g_f4_iv_ad , g_f4_iw_ad). You can manually adjust accordingly to maintain stable motor operation relative based on your motor control algorithm. Hope this helps!
