ZMOD4410 auto “clean” itself to reset its sensitivity

Hi 
 Our product is using this component. We are concerning that whether this Gas sensor can auto clean/calibrate its self or need to clean the surface of sensing plate just able to reset/self calibrate? Thanks you so mucs!

Hi Leo! 
 Thank you for using our product. Your request in Renesas gas sensor is very valuable to us. Yeah, there is a library function to clean the Mox surface. The cleaning library does a thermal cleaning cycle of the Mox element. It can reduce some manufacturing and packaging-related light pollution residues and enhance the stabilization process in the sensor. The cleaning cycle can be executed only once in the sensor lifetime after product assembly. To activate the cleaning in the firmware, use the zmod4xxx_cleaning library. For more details (link given below) you can see our example code of our firmware shows how the implement the cleaning function. By default, the cleaning example is commented out because this function is not recommended for standard user.
