Is this the IDE that you are using and having issues with?

As stated on the renesas website, the Sakura is fully supported. When you say that it is not finding your board, does it return any error or warning at all?

Solved my problem.

It is a problem in version 0.8.0 and version 0.7.0 of the ide4gr and yes I grabbed it from the hyperlink you supplied.

In the file ide4gr\hardware\tools\rx\CheckVolume.bat line 7 has "tokens=5". Changing this to be "tokens=6" fixes the script and is now runs fine.

The problem was the script was setting the VOLNAME="is".

so you can see that it was off by one token, therefore I set the value to be 6 and the out put of the script is:

I have also this problem of "GR-SAKURA not found" :(
I have done what you did : tokens=5 to tokens=6
but I still have the same issue : when I want to download my bin from IDE for GR (0.8.0) it says GR-SAKURA is not found.
Could you help me ...

Everytime i want to upload the file into the Sakura, IDE shows me a message "GR-SAKURA not found"

Hi,

Did you push reset button(red)?
GR-SAKURA could be showed as USB storage.
Then GR-SAKURA could be found.

Yes i pushed the reset button, the PC recognize it as a USB storage. I also tried with web compiler and did all the process (download bin file and put it in), works fine. This trouble just happens when I use the IDE.
I want to write code offline... Is there any way to retrieve the .bin file from IDE?

Hi Mike,

As you might know, when IDE flash .bin to GR-SAKURA, it calls "SaveSketch.bat", and then "CheckVolume.bat" is also called to check if drives "A" to "Z" exist.
For example in my enviroment, GR-SAKURA is recognized D drive. When I call "CheckVolume A GR-SAKURA" in DOS at \ide4gr-1.10\hardware\tools\rx, DOS returns error. But When I call "CheckVolume D GR-SAKURA", DOS returns no error, then "SaveSketch.bat" copy .bin to GR-SAKURA correctly.

What drive is your GR-SAKURA recognized ?
Could you try "CheckVolume (Drive) GR-SAKURA" at \ide4gr-1.10\hardware\tools\rx as administrator ?

You can open the folder where .bin file output by copying the pass shown in the console as below.

 

When you couldn't solve, please try the above though it's a bit troublesome.
