Had a previous problem setting breakpoints in E2Studio 3.4.0 where scalability settings made the option unavailable. Fixed that problem, and it worked for a while, now suddenly something has happened where I can set breakpoints, but they all have a "\" through them. It won't stop on any of them. Tried clearing them all, same thing. Other workspaces are working though, so it's not the Jlink or the board. I did try creating a new workspace and importing the project, now it seems to be fine. What could have happened to the workspace?

Is it a possibility that you accidentally enabled the "Skip all breakpoints" option…
Hi dsherman26,
It seems like you're using an old version of e2 studio. It might be a bug but are you experiencing it frequently? Good thing that creating a new workspace solves the issue but you might want to consider upgrading to a higher version to see if the bug is solved already.

Trouble is, the newer version is unusable for me. Builds are extremely slow (2 minutes to build what took 15 seconds in 3.4), and nobody seems to know why. Theory is our antivirus is not playing nicely with Busybox, but our IT folks have the settings locked down and I can't convince them to add that as a trusted application to see if it fixes it. I was hoping somebody could determine if there was a setting that got changed that disabled the breakpoints.

That might be the root cause of this issue.
It is a small icon in the toolbar of the breakpoints view.
Adding the project to a new workspace would certainly reset this option.
Sorry to hear that you are still struggling with the new version.
Can you remind me the antivirus company name? Perhaps I can reach out to them and discuss this issue with them.
Yes, that was it! I must have clicked that accidentally. It's very subtle when it's clicked on and I didn't know about it.
Agree! We are looking at various aspects of e2 studio user experience. I will add this to the discussion pot.
