Hi There,
I changed some of the sample code in the 1 step. Then, in the 2 step, the program enters an endless loop(see below).
If I don't change the code in step 1, the program will report an error(see below). The program crashes at the 1 step of the diagram below. And I don't know the meaning of the 2 marked on the following picture.
Please assist since I totally dunno what to do. Thanks.
Best Regards,
NX
Hi NX,Thank you for posting your question online.

From the screenshot you shared we can see that you have modified the SDK folders. We do not support any changes on the SDK.You should be able to create your application on the user folders. For instance on the prox_reporter example:Please work on a clean SDK to avoid any changes made in the SDK folders.Best Regards,OV_renesas
Hi OV,
Thanks for your answer.
I got it. In addition, my second question is the hardware analog circuit issue? Could it be that the crystal oscillator and inductor are too far away from the chip?
BR,
Hi NX,Thank you for the reply. If you are working on a custom board, that could be an issue as well.Regarding the HW guidelines please refer on:AN-B-075: DA14530/531 Hardware Guidelines (renesas.com)And take into account:DA1453x Hardware Design Examples — DA14531 Hardware Design Examples (renesas.com)Best Regards,OV_Renesas
May I ask whether this has anything to do with the production batch of the product? I'm using a DC 21+.
Hi NX,
What's your mean DC 21+
Which power mode you are using, if DCDC mode, could you check the HW design with the components selection and placement around the DA14531.
You can get our EVK's HW files here as a reference:
DA14531 DEVKT -Pro MAINBOARD: Electrical Schematic, BOM-, Layout-, Design-, Gerber- files

This DC21+ means production batch 21. I asked this question about the production batch to verify whether the SDK is different from the production batch of the product. And I checked my circuit, and found that the maximum current of the inductor(L1) was probably not enough. Due to I use the BUCK mode.
