The connect interval after connection

How to regularly obtain the actual connection interval of DA14531 as a slave after connecting to the host?
My question is how to regularly obtain the connection interval of the host, rather than modifying the limit of the link interval.

  • Hi There,

Thank you for posting your question online.
When a connection has been established, the Peripheral device (DA14531) can request for a Connection Update or the Central device can directly send a Connection Update Command.
Please refer on Core Specification | Bluetooth® Technology Website, on section 7.8.18 LE Connection Update Command, page: 1348

Please also check on 9.3.12 Connection Interval timing parameters, page: 2179

My question is how to regularly obtain the connection interval of the host, rather than modifying the limit of the link interval.

When the connection has been established and Central and Peripheral exchange the preferred Connection parameters and the Central will choose the final connection parameters. There is no reason to obtain regularly the connection parameters since they will not change until the connection has been terminated or if the Central sent another Connection Update command to the peripheral device.
