DA14531:About Bluetooth scanning issues

Thank you for posting your question online.
Are you sure you have enabled Bluetooth and Location on your SmartPhone in order to be able to scan for BLE devices?
You are facing this issue only with ble_app_barebone example?
Have you modified the Advertising configurations?

I used the board designed by myself. For your second question, sorry, I can't.

For this case, I also feel stranging, I have tried to use various brands of mobile phone. Android system is fine. And there are three modes for create ad message, just ADV_IND mode can scan. And I use the medthod belongs to ADV_IND to create ad message. Is that right?

Hi There,

I have downloaded the SmartBone APP on my Iphone, and I haven't downloaded the SmartBone APP on my Android mobile phone. Is it possible that it has something with the SmartBone APP?  For example, after Bluetooth is turned on, the APP first scans the device and then for some reason makes the iphone unable to scan the device. Just my guess! I'll test it tomorrow.

Have you verified that your custom board works?
Are you able to run any FW and see the device advertising?
To me it sounds like a HW issue on your board.

For the issue, I had checked the website of Iphone, and I found some advise. And I did it. The issue was slove.

In addition, I would like to ask how to use Power Profile tool? And does it require certain conditions(tools and stuff)? 

6.2. Power Profiler — UM-B-083 This link I had checked. But I couldn't use the Power Profile tool nomally. That mean is I couldn't started Power Profile tool.

The Power Profiler is only available with our Current Circuit which is included in our DA14531-00FXDEVKT-P - SmartBond TINY DA14531 Bluetooth Low Energy 5.1 System-on-Chip Development Kit Pro | Renesas
